A Novel Polymeric Micelles of Poly(ethylene glycol)-Cholic Acid (PEG-CA) for Anticancer Drug Delivery

Abstract: The diblock copolymer of Poly(ethylene glycol)-Cholic acid (PEG-CA) was synthesized and assembled to a novel polymeric micelles for drug delivery. Nuclear magnetic resonance (NMR) and infrared (FTIR) spectroscopy were used to analyze the structure of the polymer. Particle size and distribution of the selfassembled micelles were measured using Zeta-Plus particle size analyzer. The Doxorubicin (DOX) loading capacity of PEG-CA micelles was evaluated and potential ability for drug delivery in future clinical practice.
